HOST AN EVENT
All of our past events have looked different. The events took place at iconic Australian locations, schools, shopping centres, beaches, parks and through towns. Thought they all looked different, they all shared the same heart. That was to celebrate and connect local new fathers across Australia and raise funds and awareness for new fathers programs, that help support dads in the vital role that they play.
In 2021, we are putting the call out to Councils, Organisations, Parenting Groups, Non-Profits, and Individuals, who are motivated to host an event of any size that connects new dads.
Large events are those co-hosted with councils or businesses. The hosts use our template for Man With A Pram but are responsible for generating local sponsors and reaching out to parental groups within their region. If you're a council or corporation/business that would love to see your local new dads supported, celebrated and connected on Father's Day, we'd love to talk with you.
Small events are those hosted by a Dad's Group leader or individual. In these events, two or more dads get together on Father's Day to walk along a predetermined trail and then are free to continue celebrating with a BBQ, hangout, coffee, kids' games, etc. This is a great way of getting your friends and family all together to celebrate fathers!
