LARGE EVENT

Host a Man With A Pram event in your local region to connect your local dads on Father's Day.

Man With A Pram exists to create a fathers-focused community day, that celebrates and connects fathers of young families. The journey of parenthood was never meant to be isolated and over the last few years we've enjoyed creating a fathers day event that helps link local fathers on common journeys.

We are seeking councils and organisations who value the importance of celebrating and connecting fathers to get involved with Man With A Pram. If you want to know more about getting involved with our events, please fill out the form below and we can't wait to be in contact!

"Man With A Pram is a great concept to encourage and allow us to talk about the issues men face in raising a family. They need to know that they are not the only ones struggling at times, all men face some of the same issues “ we just don’t admit it or just don’t know who to talk to”.

"We always knew that The Man With A Pram event would allow us to connect with new dads and their families across the community.  We were really excited to hold our very first  MWAP Father's Day Walk. We got together with our Local Council's Community Development Officer, our State Government local member MP Tony Piccolo and Poetic Justice Café to help organise the event.

With the fabulous support from Man With A Pram on a National level, The Gawler MWAP Event was an overwhelming success with over 30 dads and their families who thoroughly enjoyed the day.  We are now following up in the hopes of starting a new DGI Dads of Gawler Group (local fathers group) and our Local Council is very keen to support and expand the event in 2020!"

“We kept hearing over and over that dads want and need connection and support from other dads when they become fathers, but there is very little available for them.  We discovered Man With A Pram and we were immediately drawn to its father centered approach and the energy and passion of the team to help us make it happen.  Our local dads said they loved the event and wanted more like it.”
